SciSys Kasparov Turbostar 432 Chess Computer- NEAR PERFECT CONDITION

The SciSys Kasparov Turbostar 432 chess computer is very cool and special. It was cutting edge for its time in terms of features and capabilities. When SciSys released this model of computerized chess board back at the beginning of 1985, it was the 2nd strongest chess engine then in use in the whole world!! It was even personally endorsed by then world champion and arguably the greatest player ever, Garry Kasparov. Which is why it has Kasparov in the name. Garry Kasparov said, " The Turbostar 432 is ideally suited to chess enthusiasts and club players." The SciSys KT 432 was likewise endorsed by FIDE, one of few chess computers to have been at the time. The SciSys KT 432 was highly advanced in features/capabilities and playing strength in the 1980's and is still fairly sophisticated for computerized chess boards. It is a strong expert level player on its highest levels. Besides playing a game against you, the SciSys Kasparov Turbostar 432 can be set to over 4,000 different combinations of time controls, play at 31 different skill levels, allow move takebacks to the start of the game, replay games, show moves the engine is considering, play white or black, and give hints/show legal moves among many other cool features. The SciSys KT 432 was probably the strongest and the culmination of a series of computerized SciSys boards Kasparov endorsed which included other models like the Kasparov Turbo 16K. The SciSys Kasparov Turbostar 432's are quite rare today, having been made in limited numbers 40 years ago. They are also quite well made and durable since this unit is 40 years old and still works like new.

This SciSys Kasparov Turbostar 432 comes with pieces, instructions, chess rules booklet, warranty card, installation manual for the other Kasparov openings book module, and brochure of other SciSys models. Those are the only accessories this unit comes with, the other module and power chord are not included. However, it also runs on batteries.

I'm a collector of self moving chess computers like the Fidelity Phantom 6124 and 6126 Chesster Chess Challengers. I have been intentionally building my collection up since June of 2022. By this point I have acquired all the models of self moving chess computers ever made in my collection which has branched out by now to include numerous models of non self moving chess computers as well. Most of these models I got good deals for on ebay or they were gifts but last fall I realized I'd spent a ton of money on my collection by that point. I have also bought a lot of self moving chess computers to resell because they came with various accessories I wanted for my collection, and I have some spare non self moving chess computer units over the last year to resell, and I am now reselling some of those to remake the financial cost of my collection.
